Lame PS3 Boss Battles

Boss battles are some of the things that I anticipate the most in a video game. However, there are some games that disappoint when it comes to these battles. One game that has disappointed me is Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. The final boss is spoiler alert:
Senator Armstrong.

Here's the video of the final boss battle which is taken from YouTube. It's just meh...

What are other lame boss battles that you have seen in the PS3?

It's not a PS3 exclusive, but a lot of the bosses in Borderlands are pretty lackluster. They just don't feel special and come off as generic. I believe this is a common complaint, and I am curious if the sequel fixes this problem.

Dragon God from Demon's Souls is the friggin' KING of lame boss battles. It can kill you in one hit but that doesn't matter because all you have to do is hide behind pillars, break debris and activate some giant crossbows and then hit its horn. It's such a badass looking enemy but the fight is dang lame!

BTW: I disagree with OP. The final boss of Metal Gear Rising is friggin' awesome. Holy crap I was so HAPPY when I beat that boss without taking damage on the highest difficulty (this requires you to not take damage in ANY of the many parts of the boss fight, it's fantastic!)

I played this game on PC onc it was ported to that platform. It is a solid game n my opinion with some unique boss battles. I wouldn't say it's lame.

Haha, well I really didn't like the design of the boss. A senator with superhuman strength? Uh huh, very unique. Well, maybe I was just a bit let down because the bosses before the final boss were so awesome with cool abilities. So the final boss in Revengeance was somewhat anticlimactic.

That's kind of the thing for me, he was so ridiculously over-the-top. The way he kicks Raiden in one of the cutscenes is hilarious. He talks about how he played college football and then kicks Raiden like that, pfthaha. He also gave us this beautiful line: "NANOMACHINES, SON!" to explain his powers! Even sounds like they're making fun of Metal Gear Solid 4 there. Plus I actually liked the fight with the MG and him, they were pretty fun. You should try them without taking damage on Revengeance! You should try the other bosses like that too. Specially Monsoon.

You know which fight in Metal Gear Rising I didn't like, though? The fight against Sam. It was disappointingly easy...
