Longest you've waited for a game to be release

What is the longest period of time you have waited for a game to be released? I waited for a couple of years for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord to be available on the market after I completed Mount & Blade: Warband. I like both video games and I feel they've made improvements on the latest one. It's still in early access and they have many bugs to fix but the game is pretty much playable and I would recommend checking it out.

It's definitely going to be Duke Nukem Forever. The game was originally announced in 1996/1997 and it was released in 2011 which took a massive 15 years. It pretty much came out as a colossal failure.

It's Elder Scrolls 6 for me. It's only in pre-production and it's been 11 years already since Skyrim came out. It'll be at least 18 years between two games.

Killer Instinct for Nintendo 64. It was an arcade game, supposed to be a Ultra 64 launch title, turned out that we got the Killer Instinct 2 "Gold" edition known as "Killer Instinct Gold" for Nintendo 64.
