Sony announced that all Marvel DLC will disappear on the 31st December. The DLC includes a wide range of level packs and costumes that are based on popular Marvel characters such as Spider-Man, and Captain America.
According to Polygon, four Marvel themed costume DLC packs were released for LittleBigPlanet and two Marvel DLC packs were released for LittleBigPlanet 2. They also released a level kit for LittleBigPlanet. The PS Vita edition of LittleBigPlanet also include a Marvel DLC pack with Arcade Pack theme.
Both LittleBigPlanet and LittleBigPlanet 2 were released for PS3 and PS4. The costume packs are sold for $3.29 each while the level kit is sold for $2.74. The PS Vita Marvel Arcade Pack is also sold for $2.74.
Besides, LittleBigPlanet 3 is also sold for $12/$8 as part of the promotion in the PSN 2015 Holiday Sale. Sony didn’t provide any reason why they are no longer making LittleBigPlanet’s Marvel DLC available. Players will be able to re-download the content at a later time after December 31.
