Recently, Microsoft has been doing some changing of their major policies, as they reversed their stance on used games and always online and then later on self publishing for indie developers. Now, it appears Microsoft are taking it a step further by doing away with there long standing Xbox Live Arcade. How this will change things is uncertain.

Wow this is pretty interesting. I think this is a smart move by Microsoft. Whenever I'm on my Xbox 360 I've found it particularly annoying having to check Arcade and then demos for new games. If I read that link right, then it seems that they'll now all be grouped together by popularity or date of release. This is good, it's the little things that people will appreciate in the long run.
