Despite the fact that it has been confirmed that Microsoft will not be able to release the Xbox One in 21 countries as promised, and instead will have to launch the system in 13 countries, Microsoft has restated the fact that the system's games will not be region locked in the European countries. While that is a nice statement, I doubt it changes much in the eyes of the slighted European gamers.

So, the option to import a 100€ more expensive system, having to pay for shipping and potentially import tax and stuff VS the convenience of buying the cheaper system from your retailer of choice in your own country. Hm... tough decision

I guess that is a good thing, it still baffles me that some systems have region lock on them. I am aware that they do that to control sales by their different regions, but still, it's pretty bad for the customers that want to buy imported software.
