Music question to my American Friends :)

Something i've always wanted to ask the american's is did you ever hear of a Band from the UK in the early 80's to 90's called Madness ?

I'm from South ( pronouced - Saaf ) London and these " nutty boys " as they were called were from North.

Did they ever make it over to the States ? Do you like this sort of music over there ??

LOL ^^ nice one. .. Add to the music, they don't make awsome music video's today like these boys did back then. I mean can you see One direction doing stuff like this ?? LOL

Of course i've heard of them. they were kind of big in the 80's. I never really got into them too much, but i remember they weren't bad at all. I was listening to a very different genre at the time. I've always liked the underground stuff, so i never was into the mainstream bands that were flooding MTV at the time.
