Netflix won’t load past 20 percent

Hi, not sure if this has been answered I cannot find it any where but I’m having issues with Netflix not loading past 20 percent after selecting something to watch. So far I have:

-Powered off and reset and unplugged for 30 minutes
-deleted and reinstalled the app
-cleared the cache in safe mode
-internet works fine all other streaming services are working and online gaming
-Netflix servers are not down I checked while testing
-closed Netflix launched another program then reopened Netflix (read that somewhere)

I’m sure there is more that I have done but if you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

Netflix as an app has always been a pain in my ass. It is the most STUPIDEST, poorly optimized app I have ever interacted with.

Most streaming services that deal with consoles don't always update the apps they develop (or developed), in this case, I don't see it getting fixed. This is a Netflix issue, not a Sony issue.

My solution? Delete it. If you have a "smart TV" (stupid marketing name), install it from THERE. Those apps DO get updated. Its high priority over the console apps.

You'll still get the same problems from a finished download of Netflix. My biggest issue with Netflix is the loading times. ITS A SIMPLE APP, YET ITS QUERYING as if its talking to another heavy duty computer.

Ridiculous.
