New trailer for EA Sports UFC gameplay video showing the realism of Next-Gen fighters

Looks like this could be a pretty fun fighting game for all of you that may be in need of a next-gen UFC fighting / WWE type game.

Very good looking no doubt but it lacks a human touch. The models look real but they don't feel real, I remember Fight Night 3 had the realistic physiques and stuff when it was first introduced on the PS3. It's still fairly early so they might introduce them in future videos, I hope.

The game certainly looks amazing! I've watched this video several times the past week, and it looks great. I'm just curious to see the fighters in motion against one another. The early feedback has been positive, so I'm excited to see more.

EA delivers best with sports games (as they should, they do them every year and have for over two decades) and since this will be similar to Fight Night I can see them having a smooth transition or something close and better than EA MMA.

It actually looks great so far. I'm not all that concerned with the models "feeling real" (if this is as close EA comes with this UFC it's pretty damn close and they'll probably nail it next time), but I'm more concerned with the gameplay. EA can always make a pretty looking sports title. They could do it in their sleep, but pulling it off in execution is different. However as SXB said, they did deliver with EA MMA.

By "feel" I believe daimashin means the fluidness in cooperation with the realistic look. You can have this awesome looking game, but have mechanics, animations--all of the stuff that brings a game to life--not match up with the degree of visuals. Personally I've always felt that in fighting-oriented sports games a simple animation such as a fighter clutching their knees when tiring, visibly sucking air, limping, favoring a limb or part that has been targeted throughout the fight, and animations activated in relation to the fighter's stats--say if Daimashin's fighter had low stamina and high endurance, he'll favor a body part occasionally throughout the fight and suck air earlier in the fight.

...just simple things, really.

The animations didn't look stiff or anything, but they could stand to be more fluid. EA said they're working on it so they could eventually get the human feeling in the game.
