Newbie: help needed with error message

Hey. I’ve been playing Valhalla on PS5 using the disc edition. Went to play it tonight and error CE-107891-6 came up.

It was trying to download an update before I played it but I’d run out of memory. Cleared some space for the download to happen but it could not complete afterwards.

Cancelled the download and trying to play the game without an update and still got the same error. Now it won’t play at all.

Any idea what I can do to avoid losing my progress? Have seen hints to delete and reinstall the game but won’t that mean I lose all my progress?

PS5 newbie here so advice wow gratefully received.

The game data for saved games and progress should be saved separately and takes small space compared to the game itself. You can delete the game and the game data should still be saved, you can check for it in the list for internal storage under settings.
