Official Info for Infinite Warfare and CoD4 ModernWarfare Remaster

Oberon

, , The Enforcer, ,
So now its official.
The next CoD game will be called Infinite Warfare.
But what seems to have most people excited is that special versions of the game will feature a remastered version of the first Modern Warfare!
Which included the SP campaign and MP featuring 10 MP maps.
Now I know many of use getting tired of remasters but when its about CoD some of us getting excited.
Tired of futuristic settings and crazy movements with Advanced Warfare and Black Ops3 many CoD fans cant wait for the remaster.
But you'll have to buy Infinite Warfare to get it,at least for now. They say it wont be sold seperately but we all know that soon after its often released as sep purchase from PSN store or something.

Anyway, here's some info on Infinite Warfare:

Gamespot said:
Players will step into the shoes of Captain Reyes, a Tier 1 Special Operations pilot who helms the Retribution, one of Earth's last remaining warships. Reyes' story will see him/her lead the "remnants of coalition forces against a relentless enemy." The campaign will take players across the solar system, spanning locations including Earth and beyond in a "grand scale war."

Infinite Warfare will take place in the future, after Earth has been stripped of its natural resources as a result of population growth and industrial expansion. The residents of Earth rely on colonies established elsewhere in the solar system to mine planets and asteroids for resources. The value of these outposts attracts militant radicals who seek to control them, an action which could place the countries of Earth in a very unfavorable position. A United Nations Space Alliance has been established, although few details on its role and purpose have been revealed.

Details on The Settlement Defense Front (The Front) describe the movement as a "group of insurgents" that broke away from the United Nations Space Alliance during a war of secession, prior to the events of Infinite Warfare. The Front is also described as a "fascist power." Following years of a troubled stalemate with The Front, relations have deteriorated to a point where the entire solar system is poised on the brink of war.

While more details on the multiplayer mode and maps will be released later this year, Activision has confirmed that it will feature an "evolution of Call of Duty’s movement system with an emphasis on front-line engagement." This hints the possibility of maps with more emphasis on verticality, Titanfall-style. Players will allegedly be able to achieve goals in "creative ways based on their specific play style."

Air and space combat will play an integral part in the campaign. The Retribution will serve as the player's home and house the crew. It will be a vessel players will "come to rely on and be responsible for." In addition, players will be able to pilot a space combat jet-fighter named the Jackal.

The new co-operative Zombies mode will feature a new storyline, unique gameplay features, and mechanics. Like with Infinite Warfare's multiplayer mode, Activision will be revealing more information later this year.

And details on the Modern Warfare Remaster:

Gamespot said:
It's being called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. According to a press release, it will feature "vibrant current generation visuals, with fully improved texture resolution and detail, high-dynamic range lighting, lit and shadowing VFX particles, revamped animation and audio, stunning sound, and much more."

The full campaign from the 2007 game is included, and there is also multiplayer. However, the online multiplayer mode is limited to ten "fan-favorite" maps. The full list was not announced, but the confirmed maps so far are "Crash," "Backlot," and "Crossfire."

Modern Warfare's remastered version is included with the following Infinite Warfare editions:
-Legacy Edition and Digital Legacy Edition ($80) -Includes both Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered
-Digital Deluxe Edition ($100) - Includes Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and Season Pass
-Legacy Pro Edition ($120) - Includes Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, Season Pass, collectible Steelbook, official game soundtrack, and additional digital items

Personally Infinite Warfare might be good, who knows..but like others Im also tired of futuristic settings.
Im excited about the Modern Wafare Remaster myself.Look forward to that at least. Back to basics Call of Duty is what many now want.

What are your thoughts on all this?

Reveal for MP of IW and CoD MW Remaster will be in September.
Hmm,I would have thought it would have been sooner than that.
