orange light is always on on my PS5 controllers

I have 2 controllers, the standard PS5 controller and the DualSense Edge controller. Orange light never goes off on either one of them. I've charged them, reset them, deleted and reconnected them, and made sure firmware and system software is updated. Still with the orange light. Whether connected by cable or not. I've tried all the solutions I've found by googling the problem or on Youtube. Can anyone shed any light on this issue for me? Thank you.
