Payday 2 is a perfect game for anyone who needs to clean their pallet. Its a heist simulator, RPG for lack of better ways to describe it. You and up to three of your other buddies can do a number of heist that are being added to from breaking into some safes to get some money, to destroying property because stores didn't pay protection money, to a clever stealth bank robbery.
The world is open to how you deal with things and as time goes on you gain levels. You decide what role or roles you are going to be and then tailor your character to that.
Some of that includes the Ghost who is a stealth expert, or the MasterMind who can gain inside men, buy assets at a cheaper cost and become an amazing gun slinger with pistols. There are a couple more roles as well. The whole point of the game is to get Paid! As time goes on you can go into Infamy or just stick with getting better equipment or new masks that you wear to do your capers.
I highly recommend this game to anyone, especially those who have ties with the industry and need to just not do any gaming work at all for a change. It'll be a good way for you to have a great time without putting too much of yourself into the game.
