Play Beyond: Two Souls with your Android or iOS phone

When Beyond: Two Souls is released, you will be able to play the game with your Android or IPhone:

It was a decision that originated in player feedback from Quantic Dream's last PS3 game, Heavy Rain. Cage said many and more people played it with a significant other looking on - often with that person calling the shots but not directly controlling what was going on.
In exploring how to get that second person more involved, Cage and Quantic Dream came up with the idea of bringing a second screen, a touchscreen, into the equation. The result is a free app for Android and iOS devices called Beyond Touch, which is available now.

So basically you can use remote play and play Beyond on your phone. I'm not too excited about this because I'd rather play a game like Beyond on my TV where I can get the full experience of the game.

You don't play the game on your phone, you use the phone as a controller. I don't think a smartphone would be able to do that kind of game justice.

Well that explains it, i was already about to say that David Cage was once again full of it. But seriously, is anyone going to expect anything out of this game? It will be Heavy Rain, and maybe the plot will be even worst.

I think my "smart" phone would have a heart attack and die. It is very finicky, especially with game related things.

To be honest this "extension" just seems awkward. I just want to play it like it's meant to be played, and there's no need for a "second" player in a game like this.

A lot of your posts are negative, and full of exaggeration. It's one of the more anticipated games for the end of 2013.

This is a pretty cool option for the gamers that want to use it. Not having to have a second Dualshock to play with a friend is not a negative thing at all. It seems like most of the people that have posted so far didn't even read the short article. You can play the game in single player mode with your smartphone, or control Aiden while a friend plays.

I probably won't use this feature. I want to be able to get the full experience of this game with a HDTV and a dark room. It might be a cool way to show someone the game when you're on the go though.
