Playstation 4 Design?

The designs looks good, it's surely going to fit in my living room!
It's simple, looks a little bigger than the PS3 slim, but I'm sure that won't be a problem, and the colors are the ones we're used to.

It really reminds me of the PS2 in some ways. The black on blue, flat cut design, and the creases around the middle. The fact that it's smaller than the ultra slim PS3 is just amazing. Fitting in all of those components into that tiny thing is just incredible. Sony definitely had there work cut out for them. Also, does anybody know if the PS4 supports 4k resolution?

It's a pretty simple design, sharp edges and all. I don't find it looks like the Xbox One. That system is a lot more of a rectangular prism design, while the PS4 has more diagonal surfaces. I don't have very high expectations for the appearance of a console, so I have no complaints.

PS4 looks like two PS2s glued together to me, man.

Which is alright, after all 2+2 = 4. Heheheh.

I don't think anyone is really going to notice it unless they put it on some kind of pedestal. I think the PS3 slim looks weird, but I don't notice because I hardly ever look at it. The Xbox 360 looks a bit weird, too, but not to the point where it's distracting. The PS4 does look a little bulky and abrasive, but it's just a console and I'm far more concerned about how it runs.

It's minimalistic, yet pretty. It kind of reminds me of that thing in the beginning of 2001: A Space Odyssey.

I think the console looks excellent. I mean a gaming system does not have to look to flashy, that is what cases and stuff are for, it is great the way it is !

I honestly think that the PS3 looked pretty awful I think the sharp angles on the PS4 make for a much more attractive design.

Exact opposite for me. I don't like how it looks at all. Especially the sharp angles. Though I do like the controller of course. (Who doesn't?)

But will any of that stop me from getting one? Heck no!

It looks okay.
For me the design of a console doesn't matter that much, it is more how practical it is built. It would be stupid to focus too much on the design and then they make some stupid mistakes like bad airflow or something else that can cause the machine to fail on longer sight.

I've always found Sony's designs to my liking and PS4 is not an exception, it's design is way better than the design of the Xbox one and other consoles.
