Problem with buy PS4

Hi gurus.,
We planning trip to Thailand and my son start to interesting PS4 purchasing into Bangkok (Thailand).
It just more cheaper there. I would ask questions:
1. What does mean Asian edition of PS4.
2. If I live into Europe, what is possible problems this will cause to me.

Thanks and regards, Stas.

All PS4 consoles are region-free so it doesn't matter much where you buy it as they are all the same.

The only problem you will have are watching certain blu-rays/DVD's as each part of the world has it's own region code.

I believe in Asian version, the X and O buttons are swapped(In normal case, X is confirm, O is cancel, but in Asian version is vice versa), beside that there is no difference, some online content might be region locked.

Thanks for quick answers.
He only has PS2 and can you explain me please what does mean online content.
Thanks Stas.

PS3 and PS4 can connect to internet like PC, some contents like additional levels, expansion packs and updates can be access via internet.
in some rare cases, those items can differ in some regions.

I'm pretty sure the only issues you will run into have to do with region content. Meaning that the PS4 will play DVDs and BluRays from the Asian region, but they may not play them from your European region. Other than that, it should play just fine.
