Add another title to the ever-growing "Delayed" list!

Project CARS has been delayed until March 2015. The game was originally planning to be released next month.

"Our goal has always been to deliver a landmark title that encompasses the wishes and desires of racing fans from all around the world; something with features and content powered by the community that provide a truly unforgettable and pioneering experience. Whilst a tough decision to make, the change in release date allows the game the greatest chance of success and visibility, and the opportunity to polish the game even further to the high standards that both ourselves and our community demand and expect. We’re eager for you all to see what we’ve been working on in just a few months."

- Ian Bell, Slightly Mad Studios.

Project CARS will be released March 20th in Europe. I imagine it'll release a couple days earlier for those in the US.

Bummer! Oh well, though, there was no way I could afford this game given what else I am buying this Holiday.

This was so annoying for me, I was so excited about getting it and then I found out it got delayed! Oh well, least they might make some improvements and make the game even more awesome :)

I used to be huge into sim racing on the PC and spent 2 years as a team member, downloading weekly updates and testing an alpha version. The first alpha was available in Oct/Nov of 2011 so this game has been in production for some time. They have been constantly been making tweaks based on tester feedback. A lot of the elite PC sim racers really gave this title a bad name by crapping on it in public. I guess people just have a hard time understanding that they were judging an alpha and not a finished product. In the early days, this was supposed to be released for PC, ps3, and 360 but somewhere along the line they decided to hold off and go for the newer systems. I eventually sold my team membership back to the company because I got out of PC sim racing (a real time sucker if you want to be good) but I'm impressed with the way this game has developed. People wont be disappointed when it releases in march that's for sure. Will be a real racer for the ps4 and I'm looking forward to it. Just with a gamepad and a couch this time instead of a high end pc, sim rig, and expensive wheel and pedals, button box, shifter, e brake, custom dash......... lol. I spent too much money on it and never got to enjoy my other games.
