PS Now: Gaikai site redesign reveals potential game prices

PlayStation Now developers Gaikai has updated its official site, which now contains a UI concept for the service, along with some price-points for games such as Far Cry 3, Uncharted 3 and The Last of Us.These are possibly place-holder RRPs, but here’s the concept image, as found in GaiKai’s history section.



As you can see; there are options to buy Far Cry 3 and Uncharted 3 in full for $5.99 and $4.99 each, while The Last of Us is priced $49.99.

The prices seem pretty reasonable I guess, but these prices haven't been confirmed. FC3 for $6 is a steal though!

Oh man, FC3 for $6 is SO a steal!!! Man that was a good game. Not the best ever, but so worth it! Didn't bother with the multiplayer though.

Yeah FC3 would be epic at that price, I played the heck outta that game.

$5 and $6 for Uncharted 3 and FC3 are extremely good prices! Those are like rental prices, really.

I'm really looking forward to that! Never had a PS3, but want to play CoD from that era. Played it on PC, but jumped onto PS4 a couple of months ago. Also want Gran Turismo, GTA etc. And Ratchet & Clank!

I just wonder how the streaming is going to work. Lagwise.

I mean, the processing gotta work on the konsole, right? If playing FPS games, I can't deal with lag from operating the controller to seeing it on the screen. Any idea how it'll work? It won't take many ms of lag to make it impossible top play a fastpaced FPS like CoD or similar. Anyone?

This is what I'm wondering. I highly doubt they allow digital DLs to be 5 bucks. I wouldn't look into it too much IMO. They are just placeholders. I wish we had AAA games that cheap on consoles though.

Well they have to make them cheap. It's a streaming service so you don't own the games, the low price would make people overlook that fact.
