I bought the PS2 Castlevania games the other day. They look pretty cool, did anybody else play em and do they have an advice for me before I start digging in?

I did play Castlevania on PS2 but I didn't really like it that much. The games are good but I don't know, I seem to not feel the Castlevania IV vibe from them.
