Ps4 sound doesn't work

I finally had time to set it up today. Played 2k14 and it was fine. Came baxk home and now sound doesn't work at all. Checked all the settings. Even changed the hdmi cable and the hdmi port that it's plugged into.

What can it be. Finally switched from Xbox to ps4 and this doesn't make me feel like I made the right choice !

Try replugging in the hdmi ports. Check your audio out settings as well. Do a hard reboot by holding the power button down for 7 seconds

I know this is a dumb question but how is your sound working on the rest of your tv? I agree with the above post as well to do the hard reset. I'd also take a look at your sound settings, it's possible that they aren't set to HDMI and they are still set to AV like the PS4 comes and that would cause it to not work as well. Good Luck!

What I did to fix it is put it in safe mode. Then rebooted it to like new.

I thought sony said no need to install games. Nba2k14 took 43 gigs!
