ps4 surround sound questions.

Just got my ps4 and enjoying killzone. When I noticed that the dolby or the dts indicator was off. Im currently connected to my ps4 via optical cable and I set the ps4 setting and checked both dolby and dts. I have a onkyo surround sound system. Any ideas to switch on surround?

All depends on if your receiver has multiple DTS outputs. I use Pro Logic II for when I'm not using my headset, and get full surround. Sometimes, you can manually set up whether your are in "stereo" or 5.1-7.1. I am using a Pioneer receiver though, so I have about 6 different audio output modes via optical. You may want to redo your "speaker setup" to get the full range and distance of your speakers.
