PSN Is down

Is it just me or is the PSN down today on Christmas. Plus how can you find out if it is or not.

I bought 5 games, a camera, 3 extra controllers and a new PS4.....and what do I get? I crying 7 year old. Thanks Sony...packing the shit up and taking it back. Site has been down way too long. Very poor performance on a critical day.

Really? You're gonna return it and all the stuff you bought for your child just because the network happens to be down? Over reacting much? Who really is the crying 7 year old.

It's kinda spotty for me. Had trouble signing in but after the 3rd attempt it went right in. Only thing I can think of is either A) A hack or B) they are overloaded on some of their servers with everyone signing in to play with their families.

If it makes you feel any better I bought my boys an xbox one this year. they are having issues as well and I can't get him signed in either. I also got him a vita that I can't get going because of PSN being down and to top it off I got $300 in PSn cards I can't spend. I know it's a bit of a piss off but just hang in there. Once PSN is up again I guarantee you will be more then happy with your purchase. That is until your HDD fills up but that happens on both systems. At least Sony allows you to replace it with what you want.

Probably. I got on the PSN today when I was playing Borderlands. I think it's partly up but still spotty.

If you google Lizard Squad then go on their Twitter feed (you don't need a Twitter account to watch their Tweets) you'll find then boasting about their stuff XBOX LIVE apparently was another victim the authoriies are a load of rubbish they couldn't trace these Idiots in a million years my Christmas evening has been ruined mind i played GTA V online this morning which wasn't all bad GTA V when i start the application & it's loading normally there's a option by pressing the square button on your PS4 controller to play online all it was doing was loading the Story which i completed a couple of weeks ago when the Story has loaded if i press options then R1 till i get to the omine part it says you must be connected to PSN to use this feature it's strange before i did a internet connection test everything was successful i rebooted my PS4 but when it powered up my friends list wouldn't load i have currently 147 friends i got a 12 month PlayStation Plus subscription today which i cannot renew as the PlayStation Store error E-820001F7 mind it's pointless renewing my PlayStation Plus subscription for something that doesn't work because Sony lets Lizard Squad do stuff that's is against the law the full force of the law for these law breakers i say

Yeah. I just tried to log into Destiny. I was on PSN on my PS3 but couldn't play on PS4 (I could see my friends list but that was about it). Which is ironic because my friend who lives 10 minutes away from me was on Destiny as were a couple people I play with.

FGS! we know Shambolic PSN is down they ain't getting penny from me for their PlayStation Plus it's strange i got a 12 month PlayStation Plus yesterday which i made the best ever decision by not renew my PlayStation Plus it runs out next month i hope PSN goes bust because it's not worth a penny hence me not paying them £40 that's all they are worth nothing pennyless PSN has the worst security ever in my life well Sony your Shambolic service has made the news with BBC News & Sky News XBOX ONE is coming down in price anyway so the sooner i get of this Shambolic service the better i have a Tablet now so there's plenty of free online apps from the App Store no doubt in 2015 more will have moved to XBOX LIVE

PSN is a Shambles i'm that cheesed off with this Shambolic service i'm not renewing my PlayStation Plus subscription when normal service returns i got a 12 month PlayStation Plus subscription which i decided to permanently stop renewing my PlayStation Plus subscription it probably sounds like a hissy fit to others but when your patience has completely ran out & PSN has millions of maintenances in a year in the end you just can't be bothered with PSN anymore a good point though why pay for something that doesn't work meaning PSN? Hopefully your patience is better than mine because mine has ran out

I was able to log into Destiny last night around 1am Central and again today around 2:30pm Central. Just keep trying and you might get lucky and get in.

These Lizard Squad idiots need a good old fashion curb stompin'. It's just getting stupid now - it's not even hacking.. It's just a DDoS attack.
