Rachet & Clank

On a whim I picked up the first 3 Rachet and Clank games.
Is there anything I should know before I go in and how many of you guys are big fans of the game?

Despite me being really biased towards Jak and Daxter I must admit Ratchet and Clank is a good franchise (mostly in its ps2 generation), I feel that lately they have gone over the top, but still a fun play through when not compered. But seriously.. the story :’) , Story was never R&C’s strong suit, but other than that this stands pretty solid.
