You know what? One of my officemates just received some games from his uncles from abroad and one of the games included is Railfan. We tried it out and it was, well, quite unique. You had to man a train and learn how to start and stop it. It's probably the Gran Turismo of trains. Have you ever heard of this game before?

Sorry blackjack, just saw the date on the original post :)

Never heard of this game though it does sound......interesting. The Japanese get weirdly creative, I give them that.

Thanks Titan for your reply, I am gladly surprised, considering the date of that original post... I like that screenshot and since the thread was posted in a PS4 forum, I was hoping that there was a PS4 version of Railfan.. seems that they only made a PS3 version... like you said, japanese are not bad mixing videogame with true photorealistic graphics... that train sim looks pretty hot, found lots of gameplays on youtube.

I wouldn't think they'd have it on PS4. Probably an older game. What I mean about Japanese being weirdly creative is the genres they make games about, such as Hatoful boyfriend where you are trying to date pigeons and a game where all you do is drive a train. Just something you'd never see American and European game developers make.

that's a fact, the market over here in america is for rpg & fps type of games... only simulator is the one from microsoft, but that's what I like, playing something different for a change :) I found that railfan sim also have high-speed bullet trains version, pretty awesome! :)

if you're into simulators you may like "World of Subways" (google search will bring you to their website) who are still doing volumes of subways from around the world... there latest version (New York) looks great with integrated missions.
