Rate the PS4 so far

Come on guys, let's all get together and think of how our console is doing up until the present time. It'll be interesting to see how the opinions and ratings change over time, and rather than having an entire forum to trawl through in order to find this out, I figured it'd be better to have this sort of history in one thread, for any of us to look back on!

Personally, I think I'd rate it pretty well so far. Unlike Microsoft, they've dropped their Move peripherals for the most part as a bad idea, and haven't tried pushing anything on us. Along with no DRM, it's looking like Sony may finally be learning lessons from their rivals

If I had to, probably a 7 at this stage. The sad thing is I've not really used it all that much. Only played Wolfenstein: The New Order and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on it. There seems to be a lot of simple things that are missing which surprises me. This includes notifications for when friends come online, purchasing avatars from the PS store, the ability to change your UI theme, simple things really. I imagine I'll be on it more and rate it higher next year.

I would probably give it a 7.
It can still improve with some more future updates and i honestly feel it still hasnt used all its power when it comes to a lot of the games out.
Also, needs better exclusives.

The rating I would give the PlayStation 4 so far is also a 7. So far I think it offers a much better gaming experience than an Xbox One. I honestly couldn't say a bad thing about the PlayStation 4 at this point.

At present, I give the PS4 a 6/10. As stated above, a lot of features are still missing. Themes, avatars, useful apps (like youtube). Not to mention, the number of AAA titles released so far. I am certain this would change in the following months, but at the moment, it's not living up to its full potential yet.

As a person who focused on PS3 last generation, I can say that if this system develops in the same way that the PS3 did, it will become far more amazing.
So far I've tested remote play functionality, several games, voice chat, trophy services, and streaming. It's all great but you're right about there being immense potential.
