Regaring region locking and DLC!

Guys I have a query regarding the Ps4.I wanted to know if I buy a ps4 frm US,will I be able to play games which I ll be purchasing from India? And wud I be able to get all the DLC of these games which I wud be purchasing from India? Or just a straight question, what problems it might cause if I buy console from the US and play in India? Im not at all worried about the blu ray playback but only about the games purchased in India and it's DLC having a US console.

If I remember correctly from other posters, you're going to have issues getting DLC for the games, since it's a U.S. console. I'm sure you can find the threads where it's mentioned. I don't know what your options are if that's the case.

You will generally have no issues playing games from any region since the PS4 is region free. As far as the dlc goes you have to make sure it matches the region of the game you have.
For example, if you get a Europe game you would need to get the dlc form the European PSN, because if you get it from the NA or Asia PSN it will not work. Other than that small detail you are free to play any game from any region on your console.

Yes, you can make an Indian PSN ID and it will work with a US console. All you have to watch out for is the game and DLC compatibility I mentioned before.

Games are region free on the PS4 so games purchased from any country will work on all PS4s regardless of the console's region. As for DLC, they are mostly region locked so to avoid complications it's best to purchase the DLC from the same region as the game.
