Shadow the Hedgehog - liked it or hated it?

Shadow the Hedgehog was a platform adventure game on the PS2. I think that it was a move of Sega to try and bring the Sonic franchise closer to adults. I don't know if they succeeded though because based on what I've seen, the game was pretty generic. It looked like a very traditional platform game with pretty linear levels that were usually drawn out in a straight line. This I did not want. I'll just rather play Jak and Daxter all over again rather than to play Shadow the Hedgehog. What about you? Did you like this game?

I like Sonic and I think that shadow was a good game. I think they did very well with this one. I may not have played this one as much as the other.sonic games, but I did enjoy it.

How is this game different than the other Sonic games? I like most of the Sonic games and the character is pretty fun too but this game just doesn't seem to offer anything new at all. How does just changing the name to Shadow(what a stupid change of name) make it a more adult game.

I wasn't much a big fan of the Sonic series, honestly. It was fun to play while I was little due to the fast pace, but over time, I learned to outgrow it.

I thought this game was pretty bad. I am not a fan of the 3D sonic games to begin with, but some games like Sonic Adventure and Adventure 2 are at least playable. This game was just ridiculous with the use of guns for combats. The sonic series is about speed, not stopping every time you see an enemy to shoot them.
