Sony confirms PS4's Disc Eject problem

As long as Sony responds for the damaged consoles, I think it's ok. X1 seems to have the same issue so I guess it's nothing to worry about since the companies are trying to fix the damaged units.
This is why I don't like buying things at launch; you never know what to expect.

Sony has been pretty good about responding and taking care of the damaged consoles. But I like that they acknowledged it quickly and are taking care of it. There are to many companies that make things so much harder than they have to be. But yeah, it's something that we have to accept during console launches. Something is going to go wrong.

I like to think 99% of people are fine and it's just a select few that have these issues (same for the XBOX), because it's a new console this bad news is going viral. On the other hand if there is a big issue with either of the consoles, that will be a big problem.

Now that Microsoft has announced that they are going to give out some free digital games for the people with problems, I wonder what Sony's response will be. Hopefully they will give their consumers something.

lol I'm so glad I didn't get it on launch day either. It kind of seems like they want people to go digital.

Digital is the future, I think we all know that. The question is when exactly are things going to be completely digital. For now their doing both with the physical disc not being as awesome as they used to be. But Sony has got to fix this problem, though I'm guessing by the next launch they should have it under control.
