Star Ocean: Till The End Of Time

Did anyone else get a chance to play this game? I had only just got into RPG's at the time and decided to give this game a chance. I was really surprised to see that the game was actually 2 disc. The story was really great and the twist shocked me to say the least. I also loved the battle system since it allowed to have full control of your characters and there were no random battles. Although I have heard that Star Ocean fans don't really care for this game so I wanted to get other people's opinions.

It's one of my favorite PS2 games. I've played the first two Star Ocean remakes for the PSP, but this game for the PS2 is worth it. Acquiring Battle Trophies is one important feature of this game, as you will have to meet certain conditions in order to get said Battle Trophies. For me, I think that the game is chronologically set more than 400 years from the second Star Ocean game, and also that this game is also set within a game, are two reasons why most fans never regarded this game as part of the continuity.

I played it, but I don't remember much about it. I remember the general style of the game, but I don't remember any twist. I thought I had gotten pretty far into the game, but that's about all I remember. My PS2 died on me before I could finish it, and I haven't played any Star Ocean games since then. Still, good game.
