Steelseries Arctis 7+ Headphones

I recently purchased A7+ headphones for my PS5. When playing MW2 the mic does not work in the lobby or team chat. Regardless of all the suggestions I can’t get the mic to work. The mic works in PS Chat and when I test the mic in game it registers.
I put the headphones on my sons PS 5 and it works in game. I reset my PS5 to factory and still the same issue.
Has anyone else had this mic issue? If you have, how did you fix it?
