Stephen King--The Dark Tower

Did anyone else read the Dark Tower series? I think it'd make an excellent game. I think most of Stephen King's books would make good games-does anyone know if any of his books have already been made into games?

I didn't know there was a game by Stephen King or about a book that he wrote. I'm a huge fan of Stephen King so I have to give it a try. Oh wait... just read again and it looks like it isn't a game!

That's an awesome idea, MsKong. Dark Tower would make a fabulous game. I think they were going to make it into a network TV series, but the last thing I heard was that it might be going to HBO.

That would be a bummer if it went to HBO, I think it'd play better as a mini-series on network TV. I can't see it being a series unless it's one of those one season series that's started to come out.

I'm afraid I haven't read "Dark Tower" so far, but I've read a few other Stephen King novels and I was impressed by his style. I could definitely see myself playing a game made after one of his works...

What genre do you think such a game should be?

None of Stephen King's books have been made into games as far as I know, but some of them would make awesome RPGs. Salem's Lot would be excellent! It was a TV movie that was then made into a series. But what a great game it would make! They ought to make a game of Carrie.

I think Dark Tower would be a quest game because the main guy goes through all these tasks picking up friends on the way. I think it'd be great if each of the friends had different powers (as they had different strengths in the book) and you had to have all your friends to finish the game.

I have loved reading Stephen King books, since I was small. I probably should not have read such books, but I was an advanced reader. If the Dark Tower series, was made into a console game, I would be the first in line to buy it! I think the books, would translate well, into a console game.

I have read The Dark Tower series, by Stephen King. I think it would make a great video game, but I do not think it would ever happen. I am pretty sure none of Stephen King's books have made their way to a console.
