Use of token on a second hand PS$

Hello,

My brother purchased a PS4 before xmas but decided he had no further use for it so it is now in my hands. He provided a token for a download of The Last Of Us Remastered. He removed his account and settings and I have just setup my username/account.

Is there a way I can use the token again on this machine with my account?

You should be able to use it no problem unless it was already used on the other account

If he has used the code on his psn account then no you cannot use it again. However as he is your brother and you say he doesn't intend to buy another PS4 ask him to sign back into the console and set it as his primary then you can re download the last of us and play it on your account. Obviously he will have to trust you to not use his psn account but as his brother I am sure you have that trust.
