Weekend Viewing - Cabin in the Woods

If you haven't seen this little gem of horror then its time to move on it! Its on Netflix instant streaming right now and its a great flick. It essentially is a blend of modern horror mythos meets big brother. Its truly a fun film to watch from beginning to end. My only complaint with it, is that it ends too quickly, I could have done with 3 hours of this film.

What are some weekend movies you'd recommend for viewing?

I watched Cabin in the Woods a while back and it's really a nice movie. And yes, it ended too quickly, but I also think it's because the start focused too much on ambiguous character buildups. I still love that it's not the ordinary horror thriller that involves teenagers or college students. The mythology thing was really unexpected, but a nice twist albeit poorly enforced in the set up.

Oh, yes, I've seen it. Pretty good little movie. I wish Hollywood made more movies like this instead of the zombie and found footage films they're shoving down our throats these days.
