What do you think of Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention?

I personally enjoy playing tactical RPG games, which the Disgaea happens to be one of the tactical games I have just recently discovered. I used to play Final Fantasy Tactics 2 on my Nintendo DS, but it really takes a long time to train the characters and get the classes I would like for each character. I have discovered that Disgaea is much a better than game the Final Fantasy because I enjoy the gameplay, battle scenes, and the characters. I have just gotten started on the Disgaea game, which I am liking it so far. Has any of you played the Disgaea game? What do you think of the game?

I have been playing it on Vita since it was a PS+ freebie in NA long ago. It's extremely ridiculous in every way, fun as hell. Grindy, though, which actually makes it best fit for handhelds.
