What is your favorite place in the Final Fantasy series?

One of the things that make Final Fantasy great are the places that you get to visit while playing the game. Each game in the series takes you to different worlds every time so no two Final Fantasies ever feel the same. With that said, do you remember a particular place or location in Final Fantasy that has a special place in your heart?

Beast Land, Final Fantasy 6. Something about being a great idea of having all the games' monsters in one place, with the great music, and being the home of my favorite character of that game, Gau.

I love Burmecia of Final Fantasy IX. It's the Land of Eternal rain populated by rat people. I love the rain. That's why I loved running around Burmecia. Though it's not as huge as other places in Final Fantasy, it is very moody. It's a shame that it's in ruins though. It could have been a lot better if it was still full of life.

Besaid Island, the Macalania Woods, the Calm Lands, and Zanarkand in FFX are my favorite places. When Yuna's Theme plays in Besaid Island, particularly at the port, that is one place I really remember a lot. Mobliz from FF6, especially during the World of Ruin after recruiting back Terra is also a memorable place, since it was once the sight of beauty during the World of Balance and later falls into decay, but from the decay will rise its rebirth.

Final Fantasy VIII has so many great places, specially since you unlock the Ragnarok, that space ship itself is an amazing thing. Balamb Garden was pretty cool too, wish it was bigger to explore. The fishermen settlement was pretty cool, with all those sunlight panels put in a giant dish.

Luca, Besaid Island, Macalania Woods, Calm Lands, Zanarkand..... Ah too many to list! Im just gonna say the whole Final Fantasy X. I would say Archylte Steppe is the runner up. Damn chocobo riding is fun. Same goes for Chocobo Racing in Calm lands

I was also very amazed when I saw Balamb garden for the first time. It was teeming with life. I was turned off by it though when the garden had the ability to fly. It turned into a spaceship or something. Still, great location. :)
