What size TV (make model whatever too) do you game on?

Thanks. Yeah pretty much every Friday/Saturday my friend brings his ps4 or ps3 over and we have little lan parties and grab some friends from our online community, sometimes for an event or whatever that we organized so we have something fun/different to do.

Been using a 55" LED LCD for a ages now and seems fine to me.
Also keep in mind many TV's have a 'game' setting,so always best to use that too.

Depends on your TV. My Insignia has one of those settings and it was god awful. I remember having lag. I did some trial and error and made my own settings and it's perfect :) But then again I use an Insignia, not a Samsung ;)

What kind of TVs do you use for your PS4?

I'm just an obvious noob who most likely won't make the transition to PC gaming.

I am not sure what you are asking but for me, I use a 2013 Samsung F8000 LED TV. :)

Looks great. :)

Hey don,as you can see from my first post I have the LG LM6410 :Onya

I had a 42" Vizio but it crapped out on me, plus the picture never looked right whenever I watched shows on it. In addition, we have an older LED 42" LG tv in the living room.

Right now I'm browsing stores just to see if I can get an idea of what it is I may want. Well, the other day, I asked the guy what would be a good TV & he suggested an Insignia or a Sony. So one of those may do the picture.

I guess I'm just too much of a nitpicker & wish the games looked just as good as they do on the commercials.

Nothing has changed for me in the last year of this thread. I still use an Insignia and I really can't complain about it (bought in 2011 I think?). I don't know if they fixed it or not, but the sound quality in the speakers was god awful. I read reviews and knew it going in but I had a great set of Polk Audio computer speakers that I hooked up and eventually upgraded to a Logitech 5.1 surround sound system I picked up for under a hundred bucks (which for what I paid, sounds freaking amazing. You just can't tweak the sound settings since it plugs into the 3.5mm jack). In terms of the software they loaded into the TV (and again, I'm sure they've changed it), there is a lot to be desired. It's 120Hz and I shut off all that stuff (refresh rate and even the LED backlighting). The game mode sucked so I made my own settings through trial and error. Taking it for what the Insignia brand is, it's a Best Buy house brand. You get what you pay for. Back when I bought mine, my friend who sold it to me said they used LG parts, which is probably still true. It's a good no frills TV. Just make sure you read reviews.

Now, I'm kinda but kinda not in the market for a new TV. I'd like to upgrade but haven't brought myself to get serious yet. Honestly, I've been waiting to see what happens with 4k and gaming. I'd hate to invest 500 bucks in a great TV and find out Sony is going to start releasing 4K games. I may get serious in the next year and give my Insignia to my mom or my girlfriend for her living room. I do Google the best TVs for gaming, since that's what it'd mostly be used for, and Sony is consistently on the top of the list. I haven't looked up the latest models in at least 6 months, but you can find that easily on an Amazon search. And make sure you search for the best gaming TVs.

Don't worry about being a nit-picker. I am too. When investing in a good TV, it's good to nit pick and be completely happy with your investment :D

Hope this ramble helps :)
