Who do you think played the best Batman?

Who is the person you think played the best Batman? Me I thought it was Michael Keeton. I think he did the best Batman. I saw that movie in theaters when I was a kid. Batman Returns was pretty good as well, but when they began to swithch the lead actors the movies began to fall apart. After Batman and Robin I began to lose hope in Batman movies. Then they had Christian Bale play Batman and he was actually good. I watched all three of his movies as Batman and I gotta say he did very well, but he wasn't as good as ol Mike though. So who do you think did the best Batman?

I think Michael Keaton played the best Bruce Wayne. Cocky, arrogant, kind of shady. But as for Batman, I really have to give it to Christian Bale. The only thing I hated was the voice. Oh God the voice.

Vote goes to Christian Bale. I agree with the voice. In Batman Begins, his voice was fine - but over the next two movies his voice got more... ridiculous.

And you know what? I think Ben Affleck will be an excellent Batman/Bruce Wayne!

I prefer Christian Bateman. All three of his Batmans were excellent. I also enjoy the Batman cartoon and animated movie. The series has always appealed to me. The writers do a fantastic job, I love it.

Yeah I hated the way Christian Bale did the voice of batman as well. He started off alright, but he started getting gruffer and gruffer with it. I began to wonder if he had a sore throat and needed a lozenge.

Christian Bale imo was the best batman ...however I will also admit that when he first spoke in the movie I laughed so loudly Im sure I got a few stares..it was just ridiculous..

Ha-ha, I am sorry. I had American Psycho and Patrick Bateman on my mind. That was one hell of a movie, probably better than any of the Batmans. See it if you have not already. I can't believe that I typed that. I guess I am getting old! Christian Bale!

For me it's a toss up between Michael Keaton and Christian Bale, but Bale's voice might nudge it towards Keaton.

This is really a easy choice while Michael Keaton was a good Batman it was a little bit of a stretch seeing him as the caped crusader and honestly knew that he was not the type of actor that would really inhabit this character as fully as it could be. Christian Bale on the other hand nailed all the subtle nuances of Batman and really breathed life into a movie franchise that had gone the way of the circus with the last 2 movies in the franchise that started in the 80's. All in all the gritty dark direction was really the only option that Christopher Nolan had when he re-imagined the Batman franchise and Christian Bale was the perfect actor to play this role like he was made to do it. I won't even comment on the other actors who have played Batman because they were terrible.

Well I'm not old enough to have watched the older movies in the theatres, so I don't know how Keaton was received. I actually found him a bit odd as Bruce Wayne since I watched the movie after watching the TDK trilogy.

So yeah, Bale is THE Batman for me. I don't think he's getting replaced anytime soon, if at all in my mind. He did a terrific job and he is what I think of when I think of Bruce Wayne.

I don't think that there will ever be another actor who can play batman on the big screen like Keaton and Bale. Both of them basically made batman popular. They are going to have Ben Affleck play batman in the Man of Steel sequel and I think it's a mistake. I have nothing against Ben Affleck but he just doesn't have what it takes to step into that role in my mind. He is a good actor but batman just doesn't suit him. You never know he may surprise us but I don't think he will. I have also heard other rumors that they want to cast Justin Bieber as robin in the upcoming Man of Steel sequel. I hope that is just a rumor because I don't like ben playing batman but I am still willing to give the movie a try. If the rumor turns out to be tru, then I will definitely not be watching this movie.
