Who's getting the new 1TB PS4?

Just grab a 2TB upgrade guys and gals.

You will soon fill up a 1TB!! I have already :(
I think in today's generation, may be worth a 4 TB. Not good when your only barely 2 years in the cycle and a 2 TB is almost filled ;) Got at least a few more years till whispers of ps5

Are the performance gains worth the cost? From what I hear load times are only marginally better.

I think the issue, in part, is that the hard drive that comes with the PS4 is a.. 5400 RPM.. where as you can buy a 7200 rpm hard drive and toss it in there.

It does seem abit faster.

The thing you have to remember is that you will lose functionality (specifically Sleep Mode, not sure what else) if you throw anything bigger than a 2TB 3.5 drive in the Nyko databank. 2 TB was enough for me. The entire setup cost around 150 bucks and took no time at all to upgrade.

No complaints here. Still have 1.3 TB left :D

That's what I did day one at PS4 launch.
Swapped the stock 500GB 5400rpm one out for a 1TB 7200rpm one.

Considering how fast I've filled up my 500GB Hard Drive, I don't think 1TB is enough. I mean I filled mine up in less than one year and I don't own many games. So I can't imagine what it would be like if I bought a lot of the newer titles.

I wish the devs would start working on file compression again instead of leaving every game at up to 50GB, sometimes more. Or actually run from the disc instead of using the disc as a key.

If I was to upgrade and I am thinking about it.

Can anyone give me advice on what I should look at?

I only have the 500 GB. It'd be nice to have more memory. But honestly wish games didn't take up so much space on the HDD.

Same. But honestly, a 5400 RPM 2-4TB hard drive is quite affordable today. I'm planning on upgrading mine in the next year or so.
