Will NBA 2K14 be a rehash of last year's game?

Okay, a lot of people have been raving about how NBA 2k14 would look awesome. The problem is, they're raving about the game that would be released on the PS4. What about the PS3? Will 2K sports incorporate a number of enhancements to the current gen version of the game too? Or will they just update the rosters and the menu layout?

I think they will most likely just update the rosters and menu layouts like you stated. After getting NBA 2K14 on my Playstation 3 I was pretty disappointed because I don't see why they did not work harder at making sure the game was actually more entertaining than its predecessors. Although as I stated to my friends before I think the game on the new gen systems will be completely different than the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

Ah. Typical. Developers have a tendency to get lazy and sports games is one of the easiest games to rehash. I do hope that EA gets its act together and release an amazing NBA Live 2014 to remove the foothold that 2K sports has on the genre. By the way, is NBA 2K14 selling for the full price of a game?

In all probability it will be, after all most sports games really are rehashes of their older versions and I think they probably make any lasting changes to the game once every 2 or 3 years but put one out every year. No reason for NBA to be any different.
