Will the new wave of Valve Steam Machines be a threat to the Playstation 4?

I personally think that if Valve can get some other companies to make Steam Machines that are competitively priced and slightly more powerful, plus with Steams low game prices, then I think that the PS4 may have a tough time on its hands! What do you think.
