Hello All,
Im new to this forum and I was excited when I saw that after getting my PS5 that Wipeout had a new and updated version (several iterations really since then) from the original I was used to playing on the PS1 (Yah, its been that long since I havent played). Anyways I immediately jumped on and purchased the latest in the franchise that is Wipeout. Heres my question. I dnt remember Wipeout being that difficult of a game and I actually remembered having loads of fun with the original. It seems I really have to become a pilot with this latest version Wipeout Omega Collection.
My question is really, how can I map the D-Pad on the PS5 Dual Controller to be able to control the ships INSTEAD of having to use the Left Stick?? It seems all the other buttons are mappable but the ship direction cntl is hardcoded to use the Left stick only. I read somewhere on the internet that someone suggested mapping the the D-Pad to control the ship which gives for more tighter controls but didnt give any info on how to go about doing that. Any help would be appreciated.
I know that this game is maybe not popular on this forum as I ve searched the forum and really found nothing but any help or point me in the right direction where I may be able to find something useful would be appreciated.
