Xbox One Features You Would & Wouldn't Like To See On PS4

I know Xbox One has been getting tons of bad press ever since they revealed their evil plans for world domination, but I have to admit the features they showed were actually pretty neat. But I think the best that came out of it was that we saw what consoles & current technology are truly capable of, and a discussion on where to place a new set of lines are now being discussed. So let's discuss what lines those are, and what should be kept in and kept out of the PS4.

If not only for the spying part, I'd totally be up for the "always on" feature and voice commands. I liked the part about cloud gaming too (AI being handled online for less stress on your system), if only it didn't have to depend on the still relatively unstable internet we have now. And lastly, the ease of transition from all types of media was pretty cool too, in my opinion, and I wouldn't mind seeing that on PS4.

Bottom line, I think their ideas were alright, had they just waited for the standard of internet speed and reliability to come up before they had released the features related to it.

As for what I don't want to see in PS4, I just hope they stay away from asking fees for used games. I think MS has gotten the bulk of their hate from this fact, and I think PS4 will win this battle easily if they just pull back a bit on the greediness.

Don't want to see:

- Always on
- Having to connect to the Internet every 24 hours
- Whatever the voice/motion control thing is called being mandatory

I'm struggling to pick out of the Xbox One that I really want the PS4 to have. I just want it to play games and do it well.

Although I currently have no plans of buying the next-generation consoles, here is a list of the things that I want and would not want to see on the Playstation 4

Wants:
1.) Backward Compatibility - I know this is kinda controversial.
2.) Support for used games.
3.) I want it to become more or a gaming console rather than a remote control for my TV.
4.) More reliable online aspect.

Do not want:
1.) Required to have an always active internet connection.
2.) Constant useless updates

1.) Backward Compatibility, but this won't happen
2.) An upgraded online experience (less server time-outs, loading times etc)

2.) Voice control, but only if it's mandatory (the ability to turn it off and it would be fine)

I would really want to have games on my PS4, you know, the whole reason for me to buy a new console! Also, drop the stupid always on system, and the "no used games" policy.

In all seriousness, I wouldn't mind anything that the PS4 adds unless it has something to do with the entertainment genre. I don't want to see the PS4 turning into an all-in-one console. I would also like them not to add fees on things that don't need to have fees on like used games. Backwards compatibility is always a plus, but unfortunately, I don't think they will be adding that.
