Xbox One's Game DVR function will require Xbox Live Gold membership | Microsoft - CNET News

Some interesting news has surfaced pertaining the Microsoft's upcoming system the Xbox One as Microsoft themselves have confirmed that in order for gamers to access the consoles DVR features, they will be required to be a member of Xbox Live Gold. I'm sure this will definitely upset many gamers as I can only assume most expected this feature to be free.

Nope - they have to maintain some of their unnecessary greed or they wouldn't be the MS we all love to bag on. Seriously though I'm not sure why people thought they were getting this for free. I guess hope springs eternal.
