I don't often pay much attention to plots in video games because all I ever care about is the actual game itself. That said, I have played some games where even I had to commend the developers for their creativity in creating an interesting plot that only fuels your want to reach goals and finish the game even more. I can't think of all the stories that have affected me during game play, but just off the top of my mind I'd say that I favor Twisted Metal's character plots very much. They were often silly and over the top, but they fit in really well in a game with such over the top gameplay.
Another one I think is worth mentioning would be God of War. They always start you off just right, in that in some versions they would start you off with all powers and have it taken away from you and explained with the means of a well written storyline. I also remember my brother speaking highly about the PSP's version of Silent Hill. I never got to play it myself, but since he's not here I thought I'd mention it for him. Which PS games' plots did you find commendable?
