Do you drink tap water or bottled water?

I've been reading about the negative health implications of consuming tap water. The flouride in it supposedly damages your brain. We get enough flouride from our tootpaste. I've been buying gallon jugs of spring water. When I ran out of that I did try to go back to tap water for a few days just to see how my body would react. The taste is much better with bottled water. And I began to get slight stomach aches when I reverted to the tap water. What about the rest of y'all?

I use Water Drops/Flavor for all of my water, but the majority of it is tap water. I've never noticed that much of a difference, especially when I'm adding flavoring to it.

I've tried the Mio drops and they are alright. They have this chemical called sucralose which is supposedly terrible for our bodies. I'm surprised how much the mio tastes like sugar but actually contains no sugar at all. You should give bottled water a try for a month then go back to tap water and tell us all how you feel when you revert back to the tap water. I'm curious to see if anyone has a negative reaction like I did when I transitioned back to the tap.

I have a filtration system at home so I drink the water from it.

Of course tap water isn't very hygienic so it's best to take your precautions.

Is your filtration system only for the drinkable water or are you filtering the water that you use to bathe with too? I remember a Dr. Oz episode where he mentioned that his home has this advanced water filtration system where every drop that he used was filtered, including his showering water. That was pretty cool.

Does your filtration system filter out the flouride in your water? That is the type of filter that I would be interested in. If I had that then maybe I would be more open to drinking the filtered tap water instead of buying all these plastic jugs of spring water.

I drink water from a filter pitcher. I like it better than tap water. I think filtered water is healthier than tap.

I slam down a pint of tap water with a handful of wet concrete every morning. I call it 'the man shake'

I do drink tap water depends where I am but for home Ive no need.Someone I know works a water bottling place and so I can pretty much have as many water bottles as I want for free.
They are 2nds,you know, defected ones not suitable for sale to supermarkets, incorrect labels and so on.

It depends on what I'm doing. Typically, I drink both tap water and bottled water. Actually, my preferred drink is sparkling water, which comes in bottles. That being said, I still drink tap water from time to time and I don't think it's necessarily bad for me. Any negative effects which could be caused by drinking too much fluoride would most likely be impossible unless you were drinking too much water to begin with. Actually, they tried to get even more fluoride into the water system in my area recently, but the people voted it down. I honestly don't think fluoride is as bad as everyone has made it out to be, but regardless, I'm not too concerned about any unwanted health effects.

I said filtered is better than tap because I don't have to worry about smelling the fluoride in it. I decided to try tap water from home and I could smell the flouride in my water. I did not like that so I will not be drinking tap water anymore because it seems they put a lot of fluoride in it.

Tap water. Bottled water is way overpriced. However, I did buy a filter for my faucet at my new apartment. Water tasted a little bit different than what I was used to.

I don't think that 99 cents for a gallon of spring water is overpriced. How much do you think a gallon of non-tap water should cost? I'd say 50 cents would be reasonable but nothing less.

I agree the 50 cents is a good price. It's too bad that it doesn't cost that much. I don't buy bottled water I just reuse the bottles and get my water from my pitcher that way I save money and get to drink free bottled water.

I usually drink bottled water but if I finish it and don't want to run to the store, I'll just refill it from the tap :)

I'm surprised that so many people are willing to drink tap water. I tried a filter on the tap at a friend's place this weekend and the water still tasted the same as tap water. Can you imagine what a gallon of spring water is going to cost in 5 years? Probably $2.49 or something like that. Such a rare resource.

I have this weird phobia of tap water. Whenever I want to go and drink it, I just imagine how slimy and gross the inside of the pipes probably are and it makes it impossible to choke down, so I bite the bullet and buy gallons of drinking water. Even if there's no difference, I just feel better.

I'm not in love with the idea of drinking tap, but bottled water is expensive and whenever I need it I don't feel like going out and getting it.
