Which consoles did you have a better playing experience on? I have enjoyed both sets of consoles, but i have always had a extreme fun playing on the PS systems. I always enjoyed the collection of games on the PS systems more.
Seeing how my first 3D console was a Playstation, how many great experiences i had with the Playstation 2 and how great the games were on Playstation 3, i am going to go with the Xbox.
...no, seriously, Playstation is definitely the best gaming experience.
This cycle has mostly been 360 for me so by default I would have to say 360 - the PS3 has generally been a very nice, rather expensive paperweight for me. That said I'm going to have to concur with Mudgee in terms of bias opinions being a thing.
I have had both the PS3 and Xbox 360, and I have to say that I have enjoyed them both. Both have their pros and cons, but it's all about fun in the end right? I've had a better playing experience on Xbox 360 though. Mainly because most of my friends had one, rather than the PS3.
They've both offered me something the other hasn't. From Sony I received movie-quality story lines and experiences from ground-breaking defining games like Heavy Rain, Uncharted, and Last of Us. From Microsoft I've endures countless hours of online shooters, not the least of which was the Halo series. For now I will refrain from saying one is better because that's not really a fair word to throw around, but if you made me choose I'd take Sony.
Ha, do you think we might be a little biased towards Playstation? I love the playstation controller and I am not a very big fan of the xbox controller. That is what makes the big difference to me. Xbox certainly has some fun games but in terms of the "playing experience" as you have called it, Playstation wins by a large margin.
I spent a lot of my Xbox time playing CoD and Halo and the like, and the stereotype of the 12 year old screaming in mics remains largely true. I haven't played a game online with my PS3, though that might change with the next Call of Duty, so I can't really say if the PS3 userbase is any better. I like both of the controllers as well.
Hmm its very hard to say but in the grand scheme of things, i think i might have had a more fun time on the Xbox. Obviously, PlayStation was around longer and id been playing it since the beginning and both the Xbox and PlayStations have had their amazing exclusives but i just feel like ive sank a lot more time into my Xbox into my Playstations and overall just had a more fun time on my Xbox. Im not really sure why but thats just how it is for me
I like both but I personally lean toward the Playstation consoles because i feel that those systems have a better collection of games. Thanks for the feedback on the question to all of you that posted.
I've had more fun on Xbox consoles although I've enjoyed PlayStation consoles a lot. Although we're at the start of this generation PS4 has been eating up more of my time and having tried PS+ I'm liking the game selection much, much more than Gold's selection.
For the 360/PS3 I have to say it's the 360 mainly because the previous gen I was with the PS2 all the way. I switched to the 360 to switch up on the types of games I play so I wouldn't get bored. The 360 had exclusives that I haven't played before like Gears of War, Left 4 Dead, and Halo. For this gen, I'm switching back to the Playstation for the same reason, because I'm bored with Microsoft's franchises.
