Hi Everybody.

I do not have that much experience when it comes to PlayStations, or gaming consoles for that matter (since the last gaming console I owned was a PS2 fat) but I am very much eager to learn something new from the gurus and masters here in the forum. I am planning to buy a PS Vita because I heard that you can use it as a controller for the upcoming PS4.

I am looking forward to a harmonious and and thought-provoking discussions with you all.

Wow,your last console was a PS2? So missed the current gen of PS3,xbox360 and Wii completely? Hmm,maybe you have been PC gaming in the meantime instead of consoles?

In fact yes. I have been playing games on my now old laptop [it was a pretty decent gaming laptop before]. But because of the specs-demanding games that we have today, I feel like my laptop is already obsolete. So I am planning to go back with gaming consoles.

I remembered plying Skyrim on my laptop and it was a hell experience to the point that almost every scene was in slow mo.

But honestly, I am still contemplating if I should invest on either a gaming laptop or a gaming console. Because you know, due to budget constraints, I can only choose one.

Just wanted you to know that as far as using the PS Vita as a controller for PS4 games, it will only work for some games, depending on the developers. But my guess would be most games will be able to.

I had a weird dream last night.
I had this hand-held console that looks like Vita, and there were a lot of buttons to push. Haha.

But the weirdest thing is, its brand is Nintendo. Very timely for Yamauichi's death.

Indeed it is. And the timing is also weird. I was even shocked when I read the news when I came in in the office this morning. Maybe that's one way of him saying goodbye? XD


So going back to the PS Vita thing, I am now having second thoughts if I would buy one. Would you recommend that I should buy one?

Well I bought one a couple of months ago, and really it depends what kind of games you like. There isn't a whole lot at this stage, but apparently 100+ titles are being worked on for the Vita. Killzone: Mercenary came out recently and that's been getting some great reviews - if you like shooters.

I am more into RPGs. I have ran a quick search on google for PsVita games and I am seeing some good titles. ))

However, I am also also planning to buy a new laptop. Ughz! If only I have a lot of money. Hahaha
