Your Favorite PS Character

Who would you choose as your most favorite PS character of all time? I'd say it doesn't matter if you liked the game that much or not, but I imagine it would help a lot on the choice. As long as you either like the physical appearance and/or backstory and/or personality and voice of the character then it counts. It doesn't have to be exclusive either, but consider it hard mode to find an exclusive one you'd pick. :) My personal choices would be first, Dante and a close second are either Solid Snake or Tomb Raider.

I honestly didn't play MGS or TR that much, as I preferred just watching my friends play them because they were so much more used to it by the time I was there as an audience and it played like a movie to me because of that and it made me really like these characters, which rarely happens for me, to be honest.

My favorite would most probably be Squall from Final Fantasy 8. I idolized him when I was in high school and college. I even tried to imitate his hairdo!

Squall is the silent, take no crap kind of guy. He plays it cool every time because he's supposed to be the leader of a group of mercenaries. His weapon of choice is also bad ass - the gunblade. It's one of the coolest weapons on any RPG ever.

Another favorite of mine is Solid Snake. I became a fan of his ever since the MGS game on the PS1. He's a practical guy with a lot of street smarts and could engage people in witty banter. He has technical know-how on a lot of high tech equipment and weaponry.

"Whatever.", it was because of him that i got a liking on leather jackets. Him and Leon from Resident Evil 4.

Still, i think i would go with Gene from God Hand. The main reason i didn't got marvel vs capcom 3, because capcom promised him and then it all fell flat!

Yeah. Solid Snake is a really obvious choice. The character single-handedly changed how stealth games are viewed today and is without doubt one of the coolest characters around. David Hayter's work in voicing him is one of the best voice over jobs in all of gaming.

I really like Snake as well. I had played very little of the MGS series before Smash Bros Brawl was released. After playing that game (and liberally with Snake), I felt compelled to play the first Metal Gear Solid. It was really cool! I feel like his inclusion in Brawl stayed very true to his character even without the use of any guns.

My choice would be Snake or Crash, but just to change it up, I'll say Balthier. He had some of the best dialogue in FFXII, definitely way more of a developed character than Vaan. Also, he was in War of the Lions, and he's badass in that too.

I actually missed a lot of the good RPG games on the PSX, so I don't have any characters with awesome back stories. In particular I remember loving Eddie Gordo from Tekken. His fighting style was really funny to me as a kid.

I also liked Tomba from the Tomba series. He was just like a funny pink haired cave man type kid.

Haha, we are on opposing sides here Dame. Eddie Gordo is a character that I love to hate. I found it difficult to defend against his attacks back when I was still a Tekken 3 button masher. I also hate controlling him as well. I just couldn't get his combos done.

I like spyro the dragon. I remember when they first came out with this game. I loved it and I couldn't wait to play. I thought he was a cute purple dragon and I still enjoy playing the games even now.

Spyro the Dragon no doubt. I love that cute little purple dragon. I loved the Insomniac games and I still like the games now, but it wasn't as fun. I cannot believe what Skylanders did with Spyro! He looks terrible! He does not look like anything from the beginning! He don't even look like what he looked like on The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon for the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3!
