What was the last movie you watched?

KICK ASS 2

Confession: I didn't think that the original was anything special. I found it to be highly overrated. Don't get me wrong, it was good but not as fantastic as everyone made it out to be. Well here's my second confession: I enjoyed the heck out of Kick Ass 2. A lot. Everything was great and I also liked how they focused a little more on Hit Girl this time around. And Jim Carrey, even though this isn't his funniest role (and I don't think he's meant to be funny) it was outstanding to see him in this role. So all in all, I enjoyed this a heck-load more then the original. And can anybody say... trilogy?

7.5/10

WHITE HOUSE DOWN

Holy cow was this some good dumb action fun. This is what the latest Die Hard should of been. This film was fantastic. If you enjoyed good ol' action blockbusters with some added cheese from the 90's, then you need to watch this. This took me back to those glory days. I've grown to like Channing Tatum and at first I was put off this film because of his involvement. I really didn't see him as a "John McClane" type. And I wasn't going to watch this film because it just seemed like another average actioner. Boy was I wrong and I'm glad I was. I recommend this - as long as you don't take this film too seriously.

I think the opposite. I was suprised by Kick Ass and didnt know what to expect and so turned out to be one of the best movies for ages.
Kick Ass 2 however is only average I thought,I know they have to develop characters more I guess but it didnt quite have the charm of the first.
Kick Ass 2 would be a 7.5/10 from me and thats being generous,Kick Ass 9.5/10 easy.

I just watched DJango Unchained. This was a good movie and I liked it. The only thing I hated about this movie was their overuse of the n word. I think they used this word a little too much in this movie. I understand that the movie takes place a long time ago during slavery, but that word was used too much in this movie. Other than that this was a good movie.

Then you better not play GTA V :p

Yeah,Its a good movie though, but then if you're a fan of Tarantino you will prob say all his movies are good.

Yeah Tarantino does do a lot of good movies. I think my favorite movie of his is From Dusk Til Dawn. That was a really good vampire movie.

I think you and I are destined to have some sort of online movie marathon! :D

Yep,love that one too and ofcourse I have it on blu ray :o..,but that was actually directed by Robert Rodriguez, though Tarantino was a writer.
In anycase,Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez always collaborate a lot on movies

Cronos

Del Toro's first film I believe, and what a great debut if I say so myself. Fantastic little vampire flick with great performances and if you can believe this, quite touching. Really enjoyed this one. Simple as that. Recommended.

Man of Steel

Missed it at the cinema but watched it in HD the other day. Really enjoyed it! A good little bit of back story, the film doesn't get boring and slowly builds you up for the end. I would have liked a bit more at the end, not too much impact, but it didn't ruin the movie or anything for me. I'll be getting it on Bluray for Christmas :)

The last movie I saw was Riki-OH. If you are a fan of over the top cheesy martial arts movies, cult classics, or if you are a gore hound I recommend you check it out. You can watch the movie free on Youtube. Be warned it is very campy.

For those who are into crime movies or perhaps if your a tad bitinterested in 'magic related movies' you should definitely watch 'now you see me'. This movie is basically about 4 magicians who're performing a trick where they rob a bank. The trick is then revealed by Morgan Freeman and I don't really want to spoil the movie for you so if you haven't already; Watch the movie!

Suicide Club

I really don't know how I can explain what I just watched. I'll give it points though for holding my attention, only to be more confused by the time the end credits rolled. I love japanese films, but this one - I'm not sure if I liked it or not. It's just... I'm really undecided about this film. So, I can't give it a rating. If you've seen this let me know what you thought.

The Exorcist
Rating: Perfect

I saw The Exorcist this past Tuesday at a repertory cinema. It was great. The picture was remastered, the audio was remastered in surround sound (the original was in mono) at Skywalker Ranch by Lucasfilm, and there were 12 minutes added to the film. It looked like a modern film, that's how crisp the picture was.

THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE

Believe it or not, this is my first John Wayne film I've ever seen. And it won't be the last as this was just terrific. I'm a big western fan and so I sort of knew I was going to like this one, but not this much. Plus I love James Stewart ever since I saw him in Rear Window. Anyways, fantastic film that surprised me how well it has aged. If you love westerns and love the word "Pilgrim", I highly recommend this!

The purge.
Huge disappointment, the movie story sounded pretty original, so I had very high expectation for it, but it turned down to be a usual home-breaking horror type movie.

Last movie I saw was Gravity. Visually, I thought it was gorgeous. Even if parts of the story itself seemed a little silly.

Just watched "End of Watch" a few days ago and I was absolutely fantastic. I've never seen a police partnership portrayed as accurate and genuine as the film did. Jake Gyllenhaal is spectacular and I can't wait to see his performance in "Prisoners". Never thought much of him before except a few odd roles that were fantastic such as in "Jarhead"

Escape Plan
6.5/10

It was better than I thought it would be. A lot of cheesy dialogue (which is granted), but there were some pretty funny and entertaining parts.

I just watched Johnny English. It is a great and amazing movie. It funny to say that I am watching the forbidden zone two after finishing forbidden zone one a few minutes ago very funny and dreadful if to say.
