PS Vita 3.0 update changes.

Looks like Sony is now really starting to push the Vita to be a PS4 companion. The PS Vita 3.0 update seems to have stuffed a whole bunch of options to use with the PS4. What have you guys discovered in the update?

Well, I have discovered that they haven't fixed issues like the 100 app limit, the "Starting download" lock-up and the Vita's light blinking when it's on standby even if there's no new notifications...

I'm all for that. I have family members with kids that have or will be getting Vitas and giving them a way to interact with my 4 when I get it will be a great way to get them to sit down and shut up! lol

I do not know about you, but it clearly feels the arrival of the PS4 ...

The PS Vita will completely reborn. I think this is really the Remote Play that has been optimized with this update. This is the function that everyone was waiting on the PS4.

Imagine playing your PS4 from your school or work during a break. Wow ...
Sony has really thought about the future with the PS Vita.:)

I do not know everything that has been said, I will continue to inform me. It may push me to finally buy me this wonderful console. ;)

All I can think about is about the lag being unbearable and raging, honestly...

Couldn't care less for Remote Play. I want Vita games, not remote play.

Hmm.... I understand you perfectly. It's just that Sony is extremely focused on the PS4. To be honest, I think the PS Vita will not have a large catalog for at least one year after the release of the PS4.

Publishers want a large park consoles before developing the PS Vita. The PS4 will surely boost sales of the PS Vita. At the same time, we can have hope of seeing an interest in this console.

The game will arrive ... but not right away. and this is very unfortunate.
I thought the Remote Play was offset somewhat the lack of games.

Well, in truth, I don't find the Vita to be lacking in games. The amazing indies it's getting combined with it being a handheld make me prefer it over my PC for indies. But I do think it is lacking in AAA and exclusives. AAA aren't a selling point for me, but they are for other people and there are only a few, that's why it gets so many "no games" jokes. At least some of the few exclusives it has are new IPs like Gravity Rush and Soul Sacrifice. These are quite good, but I don't think they're system sellers over here (Soul Sacrifice did give the Vita a huge boost over in Japan).

I understand that Sony wants to push the PS4 since it's their new big console, but it's still kinda annoying.
