PS3 game you wished you had bought?

I mean, of course, we can still get the games because the PS3 isn't THAT outdated, but you guys get the point. I thinkw e all have games that we wanted to buy, but the chance was lost. I know I did, probably because my parents never let me go "all out" with gaming.

I never got Grand Theft Auto IV, but I've seen enough videos to see that I should have while it was still fresh.

I've always wanted to check out DmC for myself, and back then when I had a little more time, I saw bad consumer reviews and decided to dismiss it altogether. Looking back now, however, I realize that most of those reviews were just against the new main character, which I could probably ignore since I'm one to only ever care about the fighting bits anyway and never paid attention to the story and dialogues that much. I'll surely buy it when I find enough time to marathon it now.

Please buy it. I will put it equal to GTA V if not better. It is a great game. The combat is simply amazing.

Ni No Kuni and The Last of Us.

But especially NNK. I don't know a whole lot about it, but it struck me as similar to Dragon Quest VIII on the PS2, and that game had me completely hooked when it came out. Loved it.

I never really liked the Devil May Cry series all that much, but if there's anything wrong with the reboot that isn't related to the new Dante, then it's definitely the gameplay. The gameplay's decent enough on its own, but as a game in the Devil May Cry series, it just feels too simple and doesn't carry the same feel and interest that the previous games in the series had. It felt way too much like God of War rather than what is to be expected from a Devil May Cry game.

If you can look past the simplistic gameplay, new Dante, or badly written story (even for a Devil May Cry game), then you can at least get a taste of the really neat morphing landscapes.

This was my pick. I liked the second True Crimes and heard this was originally meant to be the 3rd. Plus I love those Hong Kong crime dramas. I think I'll pick it up.

That's too bad, and from the footage and comments I've seen, I think it's safe to say that it's a pretty commonly noticed issue. I think the only good thing is that at least the classic DMC games at least now have HD remakes, which I'm planning on getting soon by the way. I also agree that it looks a little too much like God of War, which I think is ironic since I think GOW was patterned off of the original Devil May Cry. Anyway, from what I've heard, I'm guessing that I'll probably have a much better time just re-playing the classic one that I know and love, but I'm still pretty curious to see DmC for myself. Hopefully, I'll have more time after Christmas. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Beyond: Two Souls, without a doubt. I passed it by but happened to see the first episode of a Let's Play. I ended up watching the whole thing there and then, wishing the whole time I'd picked it up. I'll have to get my PS3 back from my brother to play TLOU DLC whenever it drops, so I may pick up Beyond when I do that.

Beyond (not even played it yet!) and TLOU are my favourite games and story-lines in quite a long time.

They gave a special box set for people who preordered it in a metal case. But the game itself is really good and worth checking out. I will definitely love it, I was checking my feed every day for the next episode. I may play through a couple of times, if I remember correctly you can make a few decisions as Aiden, not sure about alternate endings or anything though.

You should try it, because to me it was a really good game. I actually liked it and the new character. I played it on the console and on the PC. When you find some time try it out and see how you like it. I always try games out first, because there are some games that I liked that had some mixed or not so good reviews.

I would say probably "Last of Us" and "Uncharted 3". LoS because I have heard nothing but good things about it and I have also not really heard much other than it's great; Uncharted because I loved the second game and actually really liked the demo I played along with the multiplayer beta back before it was released.

Valkyria Chronicles and White Knight Chronicles. When they were released I thought they look that interesting and gave is a pass. After all the years, looking back at it now I wished that I bought both games because I've checking out some gameplays and I like them now.

I wish I would have gotten into the Gears of War games. I've heard that there are a lot of people that really love this series and I have always opted for the others. I've heard that the orignial GoW is up for free download in the playstation store. If so, I might download it and see for myself if it's as good as the Call of Duty series. Any thoughts on this?
